SULSIM®
Sulsim® 7 is the latest release of Sulphur Experts’ comprehensive Sulphur Plant Simulation program and represents the latest upgrade to the industry’s leading process simulation package for SRU and TGTU design.
The foundation for Sulsim® is a comprehensive package of widely accepted thermodynamic data and propriety thermodynamic properties for all of the gas components and sulphur species found in sulphur recovery processes. This solid thermodynamic foundation is supplemented with proprietary empirical models created by Sulphur Experts for all of the major plant reactor systems. These models have been validated by results obtained from thousands of actual plant tests and represent the best reactor models currently available in the industry. Whereas other simulation packages rely on limited data available to the general public, Sulphur Experts is extending the capability of new reactor models that address the world’s newest processing challenges.
Sulsim® uses an intuitive graphical interface, allowing total specification of the plant flow-sheet, and features all of the units normally included within the modified-Claus plant, a variety of tail gas unit technologies and tail gas incinerators.
Sulsim® can be used to complete comprehensive process simulations for the following configurations:
